This is about as Boy's Own as it comes.

Donald Grahame loops his Sopwith Camel, falls out (sans parachute), descends 2000 feet "very quickly" and then fell back onto (and climbed into) "my faithful little Camel".

A riveting good read.

File under WTF ...

I know it's called random play, I know that. But how did Neil Diamond get into the playlist? That's just a little too random for my liking.

From the page: "Butterflies need a warm summer"

I imagine that it would be impertinent to suggest that they spend it in Mexico. It works for the Monarchs, right?

One of my r/l friends traps and records moths, and last year was, he tells me, one of the worst on record. Enjoy the butterflies, when you see them. None of these things are guaranteed. Coincidentally, I was privileged to see, last year, the Duke of Burgundy (illustrated with this article).

Foo fighters.

Consistently bloody excellent.

Back and forth that voice of yours keeps me up at night
Help me search to find the words that eat you up inside
I go side to side like the wildest tides in your hurricane

Buntys reviews

How can I not have reviewed Bunty ?

How? Because he f*cking scares me, that's why. Brain the size of a planet, makes my brain look like the thing that turns the 'fridge light on (I wonder if it works when I'm asleep?).

He slaughters, I mean absolutely slaughters me at Scrabble. Generally, I feel unworthy, but...

We have some common ground: motorbikes, flying, photography, good beer and good music. That latter point is an important one: if somehow, you find yourself on the circulation list of Bunty's "sent stumbles" you're going to get some class stuff. Seriously. Bunty has sent me some of my (now) best-loved sounds. From plaintive Californian-waif songstresses, to Balkan Kletzmer Reggae and Portugese Soulful Mellowness.... he always seems to be just ahead of the curve, and has a nose for tracking down *the* best stuff.

I'm reliably informed that he "isn't as tall as you'd think".

Simone White - "I Am The Man".

If you like, let's see, all the stuff I like, then you're probably going to like this. I know I do.

Some good samples on YouTube and the obligatory MySpace page.

Go. Listen.
